GOAT Store Adds Thousands of Pictures
August 25, 2012

The GOAT Store, LLC today announced the addition of thousands of inventory pictures for their online web site. This update is tailored to those collectors that want to browse what the items actually look like.

"This was an update that was far overdue," stated Dan Loosen, "but we wanted to get it right when we did it. Now, people can see detailed pictures of thousands of the games that are in stock to help them decide if they want to add them to their collections!"

The new system breaks up each item so that collectors can view each individual piece of the item, and then gives them the option of purchasing the item with whatever piece included. This allows collectors to see exactly what the overlay looks like for one of their favorite games, or what differences there are between item variations, and so on.

The photo update has been in the works for over two years, with the GOAT Store web site undergoing dramatic changes in the way that inventory is handled over that time. Those changes were relatively minor to the end user, but they allowed this very particular picture system to be created so that it works for the tens of thousands of items in stock at the GOAT Store at any given moment.

More photos will be added regularly until all of the inventory is updated.
